President GMA's State of the Nation Address today was hopeful. as usual, but this time, she made sense.

She reported achievements not as her own but she acknowledged the local government officials and members of the house that contributed to the gradual success of the State.

Noticing some representatives and senators who did not stand after she delivered her speech, sure, they're from the opposition and they do not approve of the President's plans but they could have, at least, shown a tinge of respect. ...of course the President did not acknowledge them because she knows none of their respective accomplishments. because all they do is to fight for impeachment, which quoting the President herself.. is a waste of time.

"For those who want to pick up old fights, we're game...but what a waste of time."

and to those representatives who went out of the Batasan Pambansa to join their supporters/friends/'kakampi' ...i wonder if they thought that THEY WERE REPRESENTATIVES OF THEIR PEOPLE. so-called representatives should have been there, listening to what the President wanted to say. because in the first place, a closed ear cannot hear anything and HAVE NO RIGHT TO SAY THAT THEY ARE UNHEARD OR THEIR SENTIMENTS ARE NOT ATTENDED TO WHEN THEY DON'T ACTUALLY LISTEN IN THE FIRST PLACE.

i don't know why some representatives get rather dumb when they're actually very smart.

I watched 'A State of Mind' in Discovery Channel last night, a documentary on the "least understood State of North Korea".. I noticed a great deal of discipline among its citizens and they respect their General Kim Jong Il very much. They even have in their oath to defend the General to their death.

That's what Filipinos lack. Discipline and Loyalty - primary reasons why Filipinos cannot achieve success. It's not poverty, it's not the continuous rise of everyday necessities but the discipline among people.

Man can survive anything only if they are disciplined and they have a state of mind that pursues to survive independent of anyone.

Filipinos must bear in mind that they should be learning how to fish, and not learning how to wait for people who will give them food on their table.
