Asia quake & tsunami

Massive tidal waves today triggered by an 8.9 magnitude earthquake have wiped out coastal areas across southeastern Asia, killing more than 3,000 people -- most of them in Sri Lanka and India. The initial quake struck about 100 miles off the coast of Indonesia's Sumatra island about 7 a.m. local time.
